Wormsloe Historic Site

We visited the Wormsloe Historic site almost a year ago, right after we moved to Georgia. It is one of my favorite trips we have taken so far. The site is located in Savannah Georgia and it is BEAUTIFUL. We are planning to go back sometime after it cools down a little. This was the colonial estate of Noble Jones who arrived in Savannah in 1733 with James Oglethorpe. The main structure is the oldest structure in Savannah. It is close to the Intracoastal Waterway so there are little crabs everywhere. It was fun to watch them. We love these kind of places with a toddler, because you can pretty much just let them loose. They don't get much out of the history but they finds lots of great rocks and shells and sticks and leaves (all left on site of course).
